ABOUT US
The Conservative Baptist Singles Retreat exists to cultivate a Christ‑centered community where single men and women can pursue meaningful connection grounded in Scripture, holiness, and genuine Christian fellowship in the hope of finding a Godly spouse.
WHY
We believe marriage is a sacred covenant designed by God for His glory and our good, echoing the truth that “the two shall become one flesh” (Genesis 2:24). We also affirm that finding a spouse begins with becoming the kind of person who reflects Christ in character, conviction, and daily obedience, walking in the Spirit as Scripture calls us to do.
Through prayer, biblical teaching, intentional conversations, and spiritually healthy activities, we aim to create an environment where participants can pursue God’s calling to find a godly person in the hopes of the sacred calling of marriage. We desire to cultivate the kind of love Scripture describes as “patient and kind” (1 Corinthians 13:4) and to encourage men and women to seek a godly spouse with wisdom, patience, and a heart fully surrendered to the Lord.
We commit to upholding conservative Baptist doctrine, honoring God’s design for marriage, and fostering a retreat culture where Christ is exalted, Scripture is trusted, and every interaction reflects the love and truth of the Gospel. We hold fast to Jesus’ words: “What God has joined together, let no one separate” (Mark 10:9), and we seek to prepare hearts and present opportunities for people to find a spouse that honors Him.
